Another foray into the world of plein air and a pretty feeble attempt. Battling the wind and other elements of nature keeps life interesting. Maybe, just maybe, you would guess it was an azalea, but I doubt it. I think it would have been easier done on a larger panel, but I tried to stay simple and use a big brush. Waaaaa, I want my tiny little brush! I'll be true to my goal and work through these exercises of landscape paintings that are small and looking to just the abstract shapes.
I will paint a bunch of these little exercises and I will get better.
